Here’s my prediction:
- Google will continue to develop smartphones to compete with the iPhone and give them to the masses for free or next to nothing
- Android will continue to gain handset marketshare which will enable Google to increase the reach of its products such as Gmail, Search, Maps, Plus, etc.
- With Google’s Fiber plan underway (Kansas), they will control their own network and be able to monitor the usage and behavior of its users and continue to “organize the world’s information.” This coupled with using smartphones as hotspots will enable Google to create its own “Internet” and have coverage around the world. Carriers better watch out!
- Google will continue to make truckloads of money and continue to go H.A.M.
